He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. The late Mr. Albert Anderson will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. "ROBERT H. NORRIS
Robert H. Norris, 66, of 16 Burnhamthorpe Park Blvd., mathematics teacher in Toronto for 35 years, is being buried in Park Lawn Cemetery this afternoon. He died Monday night at High Park Curling Club.
Funeral service is at the Yorke Chapel of Turner and Porter at 3 p.m.
Mr. Norris was born in Belhaven near Sutton, educated in Markham, and was graduated from Queen's University in 1921. He served overseas in World War I.
Mr. Norris taught at Parkdale Collegiate until his retirement seven years ago. Since then he has taken an active interest in his Orillia district farm where he raised beef cattle.
He was a champion tennis player during his student days and an active curler. He was an elder at Islington United Church.
Mr. Norris leaves his wife, Jean; two daughters, Mrs. D.C. MacTavish of Waterloo and Mrs. C.B. Dixon of Toronto and five grandchildren.
His brother, John Taylor Norris who died two years ago, taught at Humberside Collegiate."

Trinity United Church, Peterborough, was the scene of a lovely autumn wedding on Saturday afternoon, when Mabel Helen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Pierce became the bride of Donald A. Thomson, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, son of Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Thomson of Orillia. The Rev. George Easton conducted the ceremony. Mrs. H.A. Mitchell sang the solo O Promise Me and Miss Mabel Clarry played the organ music. The Church was beautifully decorated with yellow and bronze chrysanthemums.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, looked charming in her mother's wedding gown of ivory satin, with fitted tucked bodice and short train. She wore a finger length tulle veil, held in place with ostrich feather tips, and carried Talisman roses and lily-of-the-valley. Miss Mary Pierce attended her sister, wearing a floor-length gown of aquamarine satin with fitted basque and puffed sleeves, and headdress of ostrich tips with velvet streamers to match her gown. She carried a contrasting bouquet of bronze baby mums. The groom was attended by his brother John Thomson, of Painswick and the ushers were Mr. John Pierce, brother of the bride and Mr. Willard Thompson, of Toronto.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents on Homewood Avenue, Peterborough. Mrs. Pierce received with he bridal couple wearing a gown of grape wine faille with matching accessories and corsage of Joanne Hill roses. Mrs. Thomson, mother of the groom, was in black with silver fox and shoulder bouquet of bettertime roses.
