"TOPPING, Mabel F. (nee Taylor) At Beechwood Nursing Home, Mississauga on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, in her 106th year. Great-great-granddaughter of David and Mary Thomson, first settlers of Scarborough. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Topping. (Former residents of Wheatfield Road, Mimico) (Past Matron Primrose Chapter No. 165 O.E.S. and longtime member of Mimico Baptist Church). Dearly loved mother of Bill Topping and his wife Gloria of Bala and the late Bob Topping and his wife Ev. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Lyn and her husband Gord Gallagher and Judy, great-grandchildren Erin and Heather. Survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by sister Audrey Whately. Friends will be received at The G.H. Hogle Funeral Homes Ltd., 63 Mimico Avenue, Etobicoke on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel Friday 12 noon. Followed by reception in the funeral home and private family interment later at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Rexdale. Memorial contributions to Mimico Baptist Church would be appreciated.
